The sink cabinet that tank is in is below WL, or is at the slightest heel. Just doesn't give the space for tanks and pumps above. So the bronze vented loop will go back up. That's the only safe way. Getting rid of the Y valve with two fittings is a great idea. Thanks again for everyones input.
