I will try to keep this short and omit the four letter words.....

6 years ago I purchased a simrad tp 30 tillerpilot for jasmine. 3 weeks later it was sent back to be repaired. It cost me 150 dollars to ship it from Nassau (bought it in us from Defender). They sent it back repaired and said "we have never seen water in that part of the unit. But it was fixed.

The next year it started acting up and sent it back. They fixed it again and sent it back (this time from the us).

Last year it went belly up again (5 years from new). I called last thanksgiving and they said that it would cost 250.00 prepaid to fix it. I told them I would wait until after christmas to send it so we could have it for our spring cruise. I was told that would be fine. I just called to give them the money and they told me that.......

Do they think that I will spend money on another one after finding out they left me hanging????
