Buy shit, you get shit. When we had the BCCs, we carried
two tiller pilots, the oversized Praymarine pros. Still at some
2k a piece, they could never do what a below deck pilot does.
Tiller pilots are toys. I'd be happy if things could last 5 years.
On our Mahalo, I already replaced some items that were only
months old. My sanity is not to expect the best but to expect
the worse. I never get disappointed.
You get what you pay for.
