I have owned 8 Sunware panels and they should not be walked on, despite what the maker says. My last (and final) Sunware panel failed when a hoisted dinghy came down hard on it.

We currently have another brand of Japanese-made (http://www.onboardpv.com/) 8 x 20w panels in a 12v system and get about 7-8 Amps in peak mid-day summer sun at 40-degrees north.

Have had these 3 years - so far so good, but keeping my fingers crossed. Where my panels are mounted they are subject to errant footfalls while people board.
