Pretty good at low consumption.

We use a lot more than that.

If you can believe it, our fans consume the most amperage of any system on the boat. It's hot in the tropics when there's no wind and the Admiral wants all the fans on all the time to keep comfortable and the boat dry. That's 6 fans at 1/2 amp each, 3 amps X 24 hours = 72 amps a day just for the fans. If I turn 3 of them down to low I still use more than 50 amps just for the fans.

We've come to realize that the most economical way to keep the batteries is to just run the generator. We put in over 200 amps an hour using that.

If we were to purchase a new vessel it would all be about energy efficiency. It's just not cost effective to do it now.

I'm surprised your electronics including the auto pilot uses so few amps. On passage our auto pilot uses about 10 amps an hour by itself.

Efficiency of electrical usage is great isn't it.
