I read 8.5A this weekend on the Xantrex XBM. Clear day at 40-degrees north. Might be possible to get an amp or two more at a lower latitude, and in a more optimized installation without the cable/diode loss in my setup (I added a diode to the output of each panel to make the installation more partial-shadow-tolerant, and have at least 20ft of 18awg cable between terminal the strips with diodes and the controller.)
