I;ve been boarded twice by coastguard. closed is closed. no problem and I
did not need a wire tie or lock or anything. Now. I am in coastal waters,
at that time, and basically was always going offshore. its not far to get to
three miles out. To me, its a waste of wire ties to put one on everyu time
I go sailing. we will leave the discussions as to what really hurts the environment
to another day.
