Bronze can certainly be used, especially a Nickel-Aluminum-Bronze, etc. but should come will "Mill Certs" which verify the chemical composition and strength (UTS/UYS) values based on actual chemical & physical testing of sample 'coupons'. A lot of 'substandard crap' is being sold for Stainless and Bronze but with "certs" accompanying your purchase you can have a higher confidence that the metal is actually 'to spec'; without 'certs' you take your chances, especially if the metals are of asian origin.
