Reading AND following directions is not my strong point, or at least I have been a little lax in the past. However, since my experience taking the name off the boat using Easy Off I am a little more cautious. I discovered that when they say "wear gloves", they actually meant your really need to wear gloves. It has been several weeks and I still don't think I have any finger prints on my right hand. The skin actually came off, which concerned me. Fortunately I had my bottle of vinegar to neutralize the Easy Off. I doscovered that trying to rinse it off with water did not work.

So, I will be following instructions for such acid things from this point forward.
