Hand Made isn't necessarily a problem
Yes, I have quite a few Bebes - no problems.
The only problem with the Bebi lights is physical shock
How real is the concern about certification?
It becomes an issue if you are involved in an after dark collision...

I doubt the "correct" bulb will deter some idiot from running into you...
