() It's not much good if boats around you are under power, but if you're under sail and a securite' call or two tells of others in sailboats or small power boats, in a constricted spot, a bell is pretty audible. Of course you want an air horn in the cockpit too, but it's not as much fun.

- There are both. Something you don't hear is, 2 spars are expensive to build.
