I'm luckey in that where my batteries

are located I can just drop them in using a 4 part tackle attached to the boom. I just haul them up and swing them over, drop them in and slide them into place. I did the same thing with the engine so batteries are an after thought. It's servicing them on a regular basis that gets hard because I have to remove so much stuff to get to the compartment and clearance over them is small. When you consider how fast AGM's charge and how you don't have to deal with them, in a cruising situation I wouldn't have anything else. I might consider some of the smaller sizes but golf cart size batteries are to tall for my applcation. I need low, long and no maintenance.
