agreed... changing "standards" only makes things diffult for the consumer
In Response To: I like "standard naming" ()
One of my biggest gripes about the batteries in consumer products today is that they are all different. I have 5 Canon cameras and each has it's own special battery and charger. Two of the cameras are nearly identical but still have different yet similar batteries... making them even more confusing.
Standard cells and sizes make comparisons and replacements easier.
