Battery tools....

Back in '03 I went tool shopping for the boat. The 18 V was strong and worked well, BUT, I found a good deal on a small case that had 4 or 5, 12 V tools. I decided to go this route as all of the tools used the same battery. Now, the batteries did not last all that long, and it did not have the power of the 18V models. BUT, I took the first batty that went bad, opened it, gutted the batteries out of it and added 12V cig cord to it. Now I have a set of tools that can be used directly from ships power, or battery operated.
They are STILL going strong.
