A couple of years ago my course computer went out. I sent it in for repair and was told that it was too old to repair as the parts weren't available (installed 1997). They offered to sell me a current course computer along with the auto pilot control for 50% off.

Sounded like a great deal to me and I took it.

Garmin on the other hand only offered $100.00 off on a GPSMap when the one I had at the helm broke and couldn't be repaired. (8 year old)
