I see you've got the 'welcome' flags up!

That looks like quite the fender you've got rigged there!
Sea Cup is in New London at Ft Trumbull Marina on a floating dock. Boat is stern to the dock, facing east and exposed to the E'ly winds, hence I've rigged double springs to the near pilings plus I ran the anchor line across the marina to a piling on the other side with a loop of chain around another piling. Right now the anchor line is slack, but is led to a winch and will be easy to snug up if needed. I think I'm good for winds from the East! Hopefully I'll be on hand when things shift to the S and then W to see what other lines may be needed. Shouldn't be much, as there is structure to the S (Pfizers) and W (sewage plant).
Personally, I think this thing is going to fizzle out, but better to be ready. Right now at about 12 hrs to passage of the eye, the only wind is very light from the W. See what the morning brings...
