I spent Saturday Morning, along with everyone else in my Marina getting ready for Irene. I am up the Hudson River, in Haverstraw NY. Pulled the Dodger, Bimini and head sail off, deflated the dingy, and put that down below, along with the engine, and thru on a number of extra lines and fenders. I live in Cortlandt Manor NY, and the it doesn't look took bad around the house, so I hope everything is ok at the Marina. I will go over tomorrow to check, although I heard the the road up to the Bear Mt. Bridge is closed, so I will have to go the long way to get there. I am off this week from work as was planning to head down the Hudson River, Up the East River and head out to Port Jefferson. I will have to see if we can still do that but latter in the week. If not then do something else for vacation.
