I watched the ABC news yesterday and based on their coverage, I came to the conclusion that only New York City was going to be impacted by the storm.

Reactions here on Mount Desert Island, ME were pretty extreme too. In Southwest Harbor, probably 85% of the boats were hauled. I opted to stay in. The pic below was taken at 6 PM tonight showing the maelstrom that was Southwest Harbor at 6 PM Sunday. My boat is the white ketch. Winds were in the 35 knot range from the SSE = only about 200 yards fetch. Incidentally, Bass Harbor looked absolutely normal. It didn't look as if anyone hauled out or took any precautions at all
