The next time it rains 2" in a day and blows 40 knots here in Tacoma - I'm going to call CNN and demand that they take photo's of me and Mirador suffering the trauma of being a boater in that weather... Why I'll have spring lines AND Bow/Stern lines and I bet there will there be standing water on the dock and the cockpit might have a couple inches in it because of the leaves that clogged the drains (well - standing water is everyday from Nov 1 thru July 12) but I bet it will be a good picture!

Whoops !! Wait a minute - Just a year ago today - Mirador & I left for San Diego so that I would not have to put up with that weather and the non-reporting of such weather - what was I thinking of?

Bottom Line is that we sailors in the PacNW feel like we do not get the attention we deserve

Cold - Rain - BIG tides - lack of wind when the sun shines - SO we have to complain when someone else gets all the attention
