Oh come on! You make the CCC sound like Cape Horn

I never had any problems in the CCC itself after circa 25 transits. Of course, you should pick your weather. Heading South (i.e. West)
especially don't go into the teeth of a hard Southewester. The wind-against-tide effect can make it pretty bouncy. I've had a harder
time over the years in Hog Island Channel: you go with the tide from Onset where everything is relatively calm (SWer) and once you get
into the channel it can be nasty. Red Brook Harbor is OK but I much prefer Onset.
