Good for you! I'll likely always feel some hesitation in that canal. I don't care much for Woods Hole either. But I do them. I like the whole NE coast.

We did stop in Onset for two nights to meet with Dave E (and leave our car, I came down alone). There is the best anchorage for one boat directly to the NE of Wickets Island. We were the only boat in the lee during 15 to 20 southerlies for two days. Good swimming from the boat and off Wickets. Dave came out for a bit onboard.

Redbrook was a good anchorage off the island. We sat out last night when it blew up to 25 from SE to NE. Good holding in shallow water. The beach was great, we spent a couple of hours swimming in the last of the sun yesterday. Now at Kingmans on a mooring. We needed some provisions and found a service to deliver. Sort of a McD's marina flavor, but it works right now.

We may be headed to an old favorite, Cuttyhunk tomorrow, any advice?
