quite a sight on the naked beach. Far up from the water. I was told it broke loose at the end of the storm. While winds stayed mostly in the 50 and under knot range, a yard owner said there were gusts in the 80's. They hauled a lot of boats needless to say.
It's likely our lack of experience, but I find conditions here on the Cape to be very challenging due to winds and current.
Sure enough, we hit the mix master again yesterday despite going against the current. All I can say is, I'd hate to have rode the later current out into the winds on Buzzards Bay.
Right now we're cooking a chicken, reading, and drinking wine as the dogs sleep and rain pelts overhead. We're dry and warm. That's good.
