() Probably the skipper had a screw loose (in his gooseneck). CG did the right thing. CG also might have been given info from the skipper's shore-side contacts that there were additional justifications.

- I don't know, but looking at that picture I would have pull him off
- Or at least established ONE friend on shore as the designated whistle blower.

- He appears to be legally blind because he's blind in one eye
- FWIW, I think it was a good call by the CG...
- If someone said, "I want to be the first blind person to drive accross the country in a car", is that manifestly unsafe?
