We are NOT the last boat to head south. There are three other boats in our group that left Coinjock NC for the Alligator River a couple of days ago. OK, we're at the end of the line, so technically we are the last, but you know what I mean.

We're now in Belhaven NC, waiting for weather. What a nice, quaint little town. The marina's courtesy car is a golf cart which Pam and I drove around sight seeing. The locals must be used to it, because we were sitting at a traffic light with them, they in their cars and trucks. Even the town cop waved to us. I could live here.
