LOL! I used that cart too. I went ashore at the marina looking for a little fuel. The person who ran the marina wasn't in, but a sign painter
asked me if I needed any groceries. Well, I can always use some groceries, I said. So, he said I should use the golf cart. I was
doubtful - especially after he explained that there were no brakes (!) and that the way to stop the cart was to take your foot off of the petal!
But, I figured WTH - you only live once => go for it. It was odd going through town at about 5 MPH - and it took a while - but I got
to the grocery and returned safely. Yes, the town was friendly. As the painter told me, everyone is used to it going by. Nice place.
