are consistently greater than what prevails in Maine during the same time. Most summer nights in Maine are dead calm; S of
the CCC it can often get nasty in the nighttime. Also, the sea breeze tends to pick up earlier in the day on LIS. Frankly, I'd
have to say that the _sailing_ is consistently better on LIS than in Maine. The paradox is that, while that is the case, the
_cruising_ is generally better in Maine, imho.
