I hate this part. Because of our limited space we set the majority of the boats with a hydraulic yard trailer. It is on our list of equipment upgrades in the near future. As you can see, it was a perfect day for haulout with blue skies, no rain and minimal wind. I would rather have it this way and not have any issues.
In spite of the complaints of the old timers regarding the new and larger slip sizes, the boats at our place are not getting smaller. During the planning stages of the new docks, the old timers complained bitterly about larger slips and related yearly costs, they insisted that there be 25' slips. Now, a year after the docks are complete we can't get new members with 25' boats. So the slips go unused and the new members have to side-tie their boats. Those same old timers all bid on 30' slips.
