in theory now, couldn't you make the same argument if I replaced an incandescent festoon bulb in my Perko fixture with say an incandescent Hella bulb or a Sylvania bulb from the auto parts store? They all look the same, I believe they all have the same rating which is like 10 watts, but it would not be the actual bulb the fixture was certified with. Granted an LED replacement might look more replacementy i suppose.
