In Response To: 2nd the use of Bebi Owl ()
By a Coast Guard and Fla Marine patrol during an anchor light check, about 2100.
He ( the CG guy) wanted to know where my anchor light came from. I told him "Fiji" and gave him the info for Bebi Electronics. He copied it all down and told me he was going to recommend the light to folks from now on. Said he had boarded us only because of the anchor light, which was the brightest in the anchorage.
He didn't seem too overly concerned with certification either. Just brightness.

- No, but I'm going to. How many haven't burned an incadescent anchor bulb overnight, becuase it used too much juice?

- Never considered it sine 100% of my night runs are under power...
