I've had mine since '99.

Had to replace the carb after breaking the drain fitting - $55 - oh well. That's the only problem I've had with it. I recommend getting the service manual for it, which tells you how to remove the air shrouds and get to the engine. If you have a teenager that likes to go clamming with it, you'll also need some extra shear pins. Also recommend carrying a 1 pt Nalgene bottle with extra gas so you can just dump it in when you run out without worrying about an overflow.
