IMHO that's the biggest product drawback. It's so easy to pilfer those things, and at $650+ those pop-off batteries are quite a temptation to the sticky-fingered.

The other drawback is that unless you get a second battery (and carry it with you) there is no such thing as a quick refuel stop.

I was studying one last month in the local WM with an eye toward how to secure the parts, and I think it could be done by drilling a few well-placed holes for lockable pins (similar to locking a trailer hitch) with rings/eyes to attach to a cable lock. Indelible and visibly obvious identifying marks on each part would also help repel thieves.
