Lol! Even we rowers have a stake in these engines. I would think Hondas first design parameter would be to meet a maximum decibel range for small outboards that will be used on lakes and harbors and some times, quiet anchorages. Their generators aren't quiet either(despite what anyone says).

Some good news is that smaller dinghy motors seem to be more acceptable than a few years ago. I hope more people follow Todd, an electric will work for many sailors for a dinghy motor.
