We just made the passage back from the Abacos to the States and during the passage North while on watch at 3AM I had an epiphany.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO CHARGE BINOCULARS! As a bonus, they don't break down and you never spend hours of time screwing with them to get them to work like you do with so much stuff these days.
