We were in LA harbor motoring in a fog toward the north exit. I had a Garmin chartplotter with 1 year old charts running and we came upon a wall. What the hell is that?, as we stared ahead the plotter along with the paper showing nothing ahead of us. We were wondering if we were where we were suppose to be and I decided to go west as it was toward the ocean. About a 1/4 mile after turning left we came too the end, turned back and resumed our course scratching our heads.

Found out it was the NEW pier 400 in LA harbor. I'll never forget that.
