I haven't studied all the responses but I will reread each one before I make my choice.

Yesterday I moved Storm Along to it's winter home - my small town marina just 1.5 miles from home. They keep it open for tourism in the summertime but I get to keep the boat here for 7 months.

The summer berth is 40 miles away by car but only 18 by water. I usually end up with the tools I need being in the wrong place so all work other than repairs is held for the winter.
