That seems to be a consensus I am seeing.

The engine sure acted like it was starting, at first.
I sure hope that by having raw water open at first, I didn't "flood the engine." No signs of water in the oil though... and the engine did fire several times, it just didn't keep running.

- If you heard fuel returning to the tank using the squeeze bulb it's getting through the filters
