Having lived aboard for nine years, and traveling internationally,
we do not have guns aboard. in all that time, we only had one
issue, a boarder in London. seems he was cold, and when I popped
out of the forward cabin, he was more scared than I. he went
over the fence outof the marina and he didn't touch the ground
for half mile. that said, in this crazy world that we are in, I wonder.
we are now splitting time between an rv and the boat and have
had some issues. crazed dogs off leash, some very shady and
armed people on hiking trails in national forests.
I would not dare to gon on another boat though because most
cruisers I have met are very heavily armed.
