Plus the area is way too touristy for my taste. Here on MDI thre are lots of tourists, but you can avoid a lot of them by simply avoiding Bar Harbor during the summer. The only thing that attracs a lot of tourists on the part of MDI we live in is the Bass Harbor Light House, which is a mad house in the summer. I have seen as many as 30 people there - uugghh.
