And that is too rare along the coast I've seen from the Bahamas to Canada. Too often, it's a long schlepp or a taxi ride just to get groceries if you're on a boat today. It's interesting that you found home via your boating needs. I never thought of it that way but we chose this area for some of the same reasons. We love living where you can walk and bike to nearly everything you need.

About the only thing I can't tolerate living in or around is sprawl/ commercial strip development that has demolished so many downtowns and villages. Belfast remains intact.
