Nobody is claiming wind will replace all power generation. But I'm all for alternatives to reduce fossil and nuclear. This wind farm project to be located off Monhegan Island with 3- 300'ers will be a good study in the mechanics and realities of generating power off shore.

I could sail around 3 of them knowing they're powering 6,000 homes without the plumes of black smoke that it takes to generate that same power right now, in other states with coal, for instance.
