clumped in an area offshore that will be at best barely visible from the shoreline and easy to navigate around
A new reef formation which will be abundant with sealife and a boon to fishermen
A serious boost to the local economy providing plenty of local jobs. Think struggling fishing industry given a chance to redirect some of their efforts

No, I'm not one of those who will be offended when occasionally glancing out my window and maybe catching a far off view of a turbine field, and certainly not bothered as a sailor having to pass by a well marked field.
