Um, how, exactly can one "corner the market" for alternative energy? Surely those pesky Chinese won't soak up all the sun's rays or grind the wind to a halt, will they?
I suppose you're referring to the R&D they're doing - but since their output is intended to sale to the USA and Europe, based solely on the economics of a heavily government (read: taxpayer) funded subsidy, I fail to see why we need to keep funding them with our taxpayer dollars.
IOW, Tom, "exploring" is a good thing - but not so much when it's all done with taxpayer money, and that money seems only to either travel overseas, or make certain fat cats even fatter (because of their government connections).
