bit of a surprise 
In Response To: Sailing in Hawaii... why so little? ()
Admit I am surprised by how low total boat ownership is in Hawaii, but not surprised that larger yacht ownership is depressed. Incredibly beautiful, but bloody expensive and not so many peaceful, protected anchorages.
