It is a more independent cruising boat. I can see a new breed of off the grid cruiser evolving. Still a high tech boat, but not today's cruiser which is completely fossil fueled. They go as long as diesel tankage allows, no more. This boat doesn't have the same limits.

I struggle with the electric cooktop, but the solar powered boat is closer to the Slocum idea of cruising -sail/solar power only-, if only just a bit closer.
