The warning went out from US CERT to avoid using IE.
"The US Government has sent out a warning out to internet users through its Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT), pleading users to stop using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer."
I love this line: "if it's the spell checker you like, they finally built that into IE 10..." yeah, finally... LOL.
And I love the bit about corporate IT departments upgrading the windows products... sure, unless that corporate IT department holds back for their particular flavor of IE.
As far as integration... uh, since I am not publishing on the web, I really don't care, and in fact find it rather annoying that tools such as Word and Excel focus on the web and "social networking" in fact I really find outlook particularly annoying in the way it features "social networking" while hiding settings and true email addresses... yeah, I'm a nerd; I want to see actual file extensions so I can tell if I am looking at an .ini file or a .exe and I want to see the real email address not some avatar.
So, not spreading rumors, not a fan of IE or any overboated MS app for that matter, and indeed the government did at one time warn us to not use IE.
