Hey Jon, my son is on a USN ship version of Dockwise called an 'MLP'

The US Navy is constructing Dockwise type ships. My son is 2nd engineer on the USNS John Glen. Just christened 2 weeks ago in San Diego. He moved aboard this week and is preparing to leave for The Pacific Northwest next month. The John Glen is the second ship in what is planned on being a new direction for the navy.
