they have "partnered" with Sevenstar (both are owned by the same parent) and have cut up the territory. Dockwise only goes from Lauderdale to Golfito, Sevenstar only from Miami to Victoria.

I have talked to several people who were under the impression than Dockwise et. al. were much cheaper than they actually seem to be today. Old information maybe? I know only what I got on the official quote from them. Prior to quoting, they wanted a value for insurance. I don't know if this is the standard "gage the thickness of the wallet before quoting" that I have seen in the boating and home construction industry, you would think not but who knows? I guess I could try an anonymous quote for the same size boat and list the value as $10,000 and see if is different.
