They sent us one to test for free. We liked it and replace all of ours with Alpenglows. That reminds me that I need to sell the high quality halogen euro-design fixtures they replaced! (Any takers?). We got them right before a year of full time cruising.

What we really like about these lights is the warm tone, kind of like old fashioned incandescents. They are incredibly efficient.

We did have one switch fail. An electrical engineer friend, sailing with us at the time, dissected it, fixed it, and proclaimed it cheap construction. Alpenglow cheerfully sent me a replacement which I have as a spare. No other problems. No regrets.
