I'd love to run into them sometime, what a great No Nonsense/No Excuses attitude they display... So much discussion came out of the Salty Dawg Rally last year, so many people looking for someone to 'blame', whereas those like Iain and Fiona simply accept that bluewater sailing can often be a crapshoot, and they simply get on with it...

Thanks for posting this, can you point me to where this was posted? I don't see it on their blog... I'd like to add it to the endless thread over on Sailnet on "Rallies Gone Wrong", it would be an excellent counterpoint to some over there clamoring for more 'regulation', and the need for the SDR to conduct mandatory safety inspections, blah, blah, blah... Do you think that would be OK?

these are my kind of people - I NEVER see anyone else out there hanging their wind generator from the rigging... (grin)
