could be beat up and down the street for hours. Someone's reckless behavior is someone else's completely acceptable risk. I think a parent has every right to make that decision. The child may suffer the consequences on occasion but that's preferable to the Nanny State whereby a government is so overprotective that it unduly interferes with personal choice. IMHO
